Preparing children to meet life's challenges
Living Wisdom SchoolTM Seattle offers a practical alternative to “modern” education,
which frequently over-emphasizes intellectual prowess at the expense of
supporting students to develop other important skills and faculties
that are critical to living a productive life of depth and meaning.
Our teaching framework is based on the Education For Life system:
a holistic approach to education which emphasizes experiential
learning, spiritual development, and practical skills for living such as
concentration, self-discipline, compassion, and spiritual enrichment,
alongside the traditional academic curriculum.
The Living Wisdom School was founded in Lynnwood, Washington during 2002. In 2006, we incorporated into an non-profit and today we are currently serving 54 students in our new location in Shoreline, Washington.
We have a staff of 10 and many volunteers that serve our children every week. We currently are enrolling for 2013-2014 school year. We offer preschool-6th grade classes.
